Adventures in Motherhood!

Well it's been one of those days. You know, the kind where you wonder how exactly this became your job description?! We went to our neighbors birthday party this morning and the boys came back with some of the little trinket type toys you get in goody bags. One of the was a little mini kaleidescope, that had a small hole on one end to look into. Well while we were out running errands Jamison decided to stick his finger into the hole. I didn't realize this for at least 15-20 minutes so by the time I tried to remove it the finger was pretty swollen. I bought some vegetable oil at the store and tried pouring that on their to squeeze it off. That didn't work and just probably made people wonder who was in abusing their child in the women's bathroom. So finally I gave up and went back to pick up my car from getting an oil change and head home. All the while I was consulting with Brandon and my sister as to how to remove the thing. Finally Brandon suggested using the dremel tool to cut it off which is what I ended up doing. I don't think Jamison will be sticking his finger into any small holes again any time soon!
