Gingerbread Houses, Crazy Elves & Getting Snowed In

This week has been quite the week. We live in a place where snow, even 1-2 inches of it makes the front page news and everything gets cancelled. Last Sunday they canceled church. Then school was cancelled every day except for Thursday, which was late start, so no Kindergarten for Jamison. But we have been staying busy here at home. We decorated our traditional gingerbread house which was much easier this year than in the past. I also decided to make the boys pajamas for Christmas this year. This was a large commitment for me, since I really don't know how to sew. Litterally I have never sewn anything from a pattern without assitance. So I am so darn excited that I made 3 pairs of pajamas and they actually look like pajamas. I even went a little crazy today and made a little pointy elf hat for Carter. Unfortunately he was a grumpy elf for his photos. But he's still pretty darn cute. We also just got the call to let us know that church is cancelled for tommorow as well. And the snow is still coming down outside. We may have to stay in our house for the next week. If you don't hear from me send help!!!

And yes, taking pictures of my children is an ordeal. I get alot of crazy stuff going on, and usually some crying. Carter was upset because first he didn't want to be in the pictures, then he did want to be in them and he just couldn't make up his mind.
