Getting out to do a photo shoot of Sully was HARD! I really struggled this time to find the time and energy to go capture this sweet newborn phase. Amy was super busy, so I didn’t have my normal assistant to come and get me through it, and the first photos I took in our yard one afternoon when I had a few minutes. Then when Sully was 2 weeks old I decided I better go and just do it or I was going to miss my window. I normally don’t love awake photos of newborns since they tend to look unfocused and a bit crazy, but he was so alert and really would focus on your face, so despite him being awake, I LOVE these photos. It was fun having a summer baby so I got to go outside for his newborn photos.
