I think it’s finally been long enough since this day that I mostly just remember the fun parts! Sully was not a fan of the heat and had a hard day. The big boys all had a great time swimming and boating.
And yes, I made my 11 year old wear a life jacket while swimming in the lake! (I had a bit of emotional baggage with this particular lake since out neighbor who was also my science teacher drown in this lake because he wasn’t wearing a life jacket).

I got one turn out on the boat thanks to Nanna being willing to keep baby while I went out. It was so nice of her.
