July

In July Brandon had surgery and was diagnosed with Melanoma. He had a mole the size of a quarter removed from his leg, which they found out was cancerous. So it was a scary time for us. He also had a second surgery to remove his lymph nodes and more tissue from around the original mole. Luckily the test results showed that his lymph nodes were clear and he is now cancer free. I also went to girls camp with our new stake as a certification leader. This was a great calling for me, and I really enjoyed spending time with the youth. We also had a fun 4th of July get together with the missionaries and our neighbors. We lit fireworks and ate snacks and had a good time. We've been enjoying spending lots of time with the missionaries in our ward since Brandon is a ward missionary and the Gospel Essentials teacher.
