So this year I decided to lighten up a bit, and do a more "fun" crazy themed photo shoot for my Christmas cards. I put the boys in their new Christmas pajamas, gave them giant lollipops and put them in front of our real live fireplace complete with an actual mantle. I even designed the cards and started printing them. But I just couldn't do it. Every time I looked at them they made me cringe. The photos just looked like bad snapshots to me, and I really hated most everything about the cards I spent at least an hour designing. So I scrapped them and started over with more classic headshots of the boys, and was much happier with the results. But I figured since the first photo shoot was now wasted, I'd just throw them up here for everyone to see!! Although I think maybe that defeats my whole purpose. I don't know.

It's OK to sometimes have mediocre photos. Then the rest of us don't look so bad!
