In the Home Stretch
I'm just about 3 1/2 weeks from my due date, and I'm getting very excited to meet our newest little guy. I had my home visit with my midwives today, and they dropped off all the birth supplies we'll need for our home birth, so now we just wait. My boys were quite impressed by the giant pool that is now inflated and sitting in my bedroom (I decided I didn't want to have to listen to the air pump noise when I'm really in labor). I also had my friend Amy take some maternity pictures for me last week, so other than finishing up all of the work that I have left to do, I think we're ready for this baby to arrive. Hopefully he'll give me at least another week to finish up all of my last minute work.

Tara, you are just beautiful! You must be sooo uncomfortable, though! You are very very braaave to have this one at home! My last birth was with no anesthesia (not on purpose). I guess it CAN be done, huh?

you are so cute in this picture I love it, Mason saw it at the same time I did and he said "is that her when she was a teenager" so you look really great to pass for a teenager (he didn't seem to notice your belly :).
