Painting-my new hobby

I’ve spent the past 2 months painting.  I pretty much vowed when I moved to this house that I would paint just about every surface in the house that is paintable.  I’m in the middle of painting the kitchen cabinets, but am not done with that, so I’m not posting photos till that is done.  But I did take a shot of my newly painted front door that is giving me hope for the future of the exterior of the house.  We plan to paint the siding grey, and the majority of the trim white with some accents of black (I might add shutters to some of the windows).  The door is helping me to see the future.  (It was previously maroon with forest green trim, so big improvement!)
