So like I said in a much earlier post, my mom has been wanting to go to Silver Falls every time she has come up to visit me for years. We even almost made it there one time, and then it was snowing and we had no chains and had to turn around 5 miles from the park. So this time when she came we swore we would make it. Well on the way down there my van starts making this horrible noise! We pulled over and my dad took a look and decided it was the air flow system, and I turned off power to the air and started the van again and no more bad noise. So the disaster was averted and we actually made it there this time. This was the first time we hiked the loop (though we didn’t do the full loop and missed 2 of the falls), and it was incredible. The falls were all so different and just awe inspiring. The boys made it through the almost 6 miles, though there was some whining and grumbling along the way (including Brandon

Okay, so how far away is this place? That seems like a fun thing for us to do when we come up in August!
