I’m so excited to have a room in my house that is almost finished and looks how I’ve been envisioning it to look since we first looked at this house. We got some great deals on bathroom fixtures and tile and decided to jump in and renovate the bathroom ourselves. (how hard could it be right?!) It actually went pretty smoothly and we started demolition on Thursday night and just finished up the last details yesterday (Tuesday), so not too bad. We still have to do the tile in the shower/tub area, but we decided we’d rather break it up into two separate times so that we wouldn’t be out of a bathroom for too long at one time. So here is the one before photo I have (I’m kicking myself for not taking photos before we demo’d). But there was lots of beige, an awesome textured gold mirror, and the crowning glory was the wavy black towel rack on the wall to the left that you can’t see.
And now the finished product after all our hard work!
I’m really proud of that tile! And of how well Brandon and I worked together on this project! It makes me excited for many more projects to come for this house!
