It's official, I have a child whose age is in the double digits now. Kaden turned 10 on September 24th and he had a fun late night party with some of his best buddies. I am really enjoying Kaden these days. I always thought it would be weird to have a boy this age, I always felt that I didn't understand boys from about the age of 10-13. But I'm finding that I'm loving having a child that is old enough to have really conversations with, and who is becoming more responsible and less impulsive. Here's some things I want to remember about Kaden right now.
*He is going to King Elementary and loves his teacher Mrs. Bolinger.
*He can sit and build legos for hours (seriously I think he'd build 8 hours straight).
*He is starting to really enjoy cooking and helps me in the kitchen a lot.
*He just finished his Bear scout badge and is excited to start earning his webelo badge.
*He loves writing and was so sad a few days ago that they didn't have writing time at school.
*He's my go to guy for feeding our chickens. He's become much more responsible and helpful.
*He still loves to hug and cuddle his mama (trying to soak that up while it lasts).]
*He is best buddies with Jamison and they love to play together.
Here are a few photos from his party. Not great photos, but that's what happens when your party is at night. Oh, and Bennett really enjoyed the cupcakes we had for the party!
