On Monday my parent’s arrived to join us in the Keys. The boys were very excited to see Nana and Papa. We spent some time at the beach, and went grocery shopping.
The day after my parents arrived we went fishing. Kaden and Nana got a bit sea sick and didn’t enjoy the experience all that much. Sully and Bennett pretty much got a nap on the boat, I think the waves lulled them to sleep. The bigger boys and Papa had a great time catching fish and even a couple of sharks. The boys said their favorite part of that day was when Nana pushed them off the dock into the water at lunchtime!
The next day we had the boat again, so since my Mom said she’d rather go just about anywhere rather than go back on the boat, we sent the big boys and Papa out fishing in the morning and we went to Bahia Honda Park. Then in the afternoon the little ones stayed with Nana to take a nap, and I went and met everyone else to go back out fishing. We had a great time, and caught some huge Grouper (which we couldn’t keep since they weren’t in season), and caught enough fish to take home and eat for dinner that night. Though it took my Dad plenty of time to filet all of those little fish! They tasted amazing though!
