I was checking things out on Make it and Love it today and saw this cute little sign that she had made.
I thought it was a cute idea, but had to laugh at the fact that if I had a clothesline like this, it would need to extend the whole length of the house. I have an entire basket full of mismatched socks, and the other day while my visiting teacher was here I sat and went through them all to see how many of them actually had their mate in the basket, and after I was done, the basket was pretty much full still! I just don’t understand! Where have they all gone???

Tara, that's so funny! I saw this & had the same idea! I thought, really, you only have 3 mismatched socks at your house? Your sock monster must be ill or you must be exceptionally organized! Glad I wasn't the only one!
Ha ha! That is a really cute idea though...
seriously. our mom used to make us safety pin our socks together @ the toe & then after they were folded, we'd un-safety pin them. this idea is much cuter though! (:

I hear ya, mine would also have to circle the house a few times. I have this whole basket thinking someday I will find the mate. One of these days I'm just gonna throw them away...then I will find the mates!
