We took off to the beach last weekend for a 3 day getaway before the boys had to go back to school. Our friends the Jefferies came with us, which made it a lot of fun. Saturday the weather was ok, not too cold, and a little bit of rain here and there, but nothing too bad for January. The boys went swimming, and we hung around and played games, watched movies, and ate yummy food. Sunday we woke up to beautiful sunshine streaming through the windows, and it stuck around for the entire day. After church we had lunch and played some games, then finally close to sunset we went out to the beach to play and take pictures. It was warm (well warm for January!) and so amazingly lovely. Just what I needed to get me through a few more months of winter.
The moon rising was spectacular! The photo doesn’t do it justice, it looked so HUGE!
