July

July was another insanely busy month.  At the start of the month my favorite friends the Hoggards came to visit.
Then we spent another weekend at the Oregon coast, this time we stayed at Depoe Bay.

We went crabbing and caught so many crab from big to small.

We saw all of the seals outside of our window.

We got free slurpies on 7-11

We spent some time exploring the art garden at the local community college after I spent some time working on homework there.

I shaved poor Stanley down to his skin before going to Utah, look at the poor bald dog.

We went to Utah for me to attend a midwifery skills workshop at Better Birth in Orem and I ate at Cafe Rio by myself and was in heaven.

We got to visit with the Fox's and the Jefferies and have a boys club reunion.  It was so great to all get together again.

I got to practice lots of midwifery skills on this sweet person.  I think we both were ready for the week to be over by this point, but we sure learned a lot (like how nervous I get when poking someone with a needle!)

I got to meet some other midwives from my school.  It's always fun to meet people in person who you've become friends with online.

Pappa took us out for rides on his 4-wheeler up Farmington canyon.  Then we went to Cherry Hill that evening and got Mexi-Ice at Taco Time.  We fit all of that in after I finished my workshop on Saturday around noon, then had to head home Sunday morning.  The boys had a great time spending the week at Nanna's house playing with their cousins.
At the end of the month Brandon and I went and hiked to Oneonta Falls without kids for his birthday.  It was a really hot day, and the place was packed but we had a great time hiking through the nice cold water.
